Catering FAQ's

Who should I contact regarding having a catered event the Harbor View Hotel?
You can speak directly with one of our catering professionals concerning your event by calling 508-627-6362 or completing an online Request for Proposal.

What are your menu offerings?
The hotel offers a wide selection of food and beverage items. We can share our standardized menus, which contain everything from breakfast options to dessert selections. We specialize in regional fare prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Also, our Executive Chef is available to help customize a menu to your specific tastes.

What is your payment policy?
To confirm any date a deposit is required. Deposits are non-refundable. All deposits are applied to your final invoice. Full payment is required on all catered events 14 days prior to the event. Specific amounts will vary with the size of your event and details will be outlined in your contractual agreement with the hotel.

What taxes and tips are we billed for?
All food and beverage and in-house audio visual prices are subject to a non-taxable 15% Service Charge, a taxable 5% Administrative Fee and 5% State Tax. Service Charges are distributed to hourly paid associates who are engaged in the service of events. The Administrative Fee is retained by the hotel to defer overhead costs and therefore no portion of this fee is distributed to hourly paid service staff. Meeting Room Rental and Miscellaneous charges are subject to a taxable 5% Administrative Fee and 5% State Tax.

Where can I order flowers, photographer, cakes, DJ's etc.?
We maintain a list of reliable vendors with whom we work on an ongoing basis. We have found these companies consistently provide both the product and service you expect for an upscale, successful event.
