Half-Day Adventure Cruises
Norton Point Beach, a 2.5 mile-long barrier beach of untouched sand and dunes that, until it breached during a ‘Nor’easter in April 2007, linked Martha's Vineyard and the island of Chappaquiddick. Norton Point Beach can vary dramatically – from 95 feet to 300 feet. This ever-changing environment provides an important habitat for nesting shorebirds and shells to collect. The Breach offers an excellent opportunity to see the wildlife and stop on a sand bar to harvest your own clams.
Lunch in Tashmoo at Anchor – Leave Edgartown Harbor bound for Lake Tashmoo on the North West side of Martha’s Vineyard. Our Captains will be more then accommodating and stop into one of the ports of Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven for a walk through town or shopping in one of many boutique shops and galleries. Once in Tashmoo, the Captain will set the anchor in the calm serene waters where you can enjoy a picnic lunch. Please contact our concierge to arrange for your picnic lunch.
Full Day Ultimate Cruise
Fresh Lobsters, Chowder and Seafood in Menemsha for Lunch (or dinner) Menemsha is a true New England fishing village where the seafood is so fresh, it literally comes right off the fishing boat and into the fish markets. Build up your appetite during a 45min cruise from Edgartown to Menemsha. See the entire north shore of Martha’s Vineyard from the water as you pass State Beach, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, Lamberts Cove, and then into Menemsha. Enjoy fresh lobster, mussels, steamers and chowder outside on the dock or have a picnic on Menemsha Beach. On the cruise back to Edgartown, stop off at a secluded cove for a sunset stroll.
