STARDUST 39’ Bunker and Ellis Picnic Yacht
Step aboard Stardust and step back in time to 1960’s New England. Designed and built in Maine by famed boat builders, Raymond Bunker and Ralph Ellis, who integrated the strength, stability and seaworthiness of a “Downeast lobster hull”, to hand-craft Stardust in 1966. One of the first “picnic yachts”, Stardust is one of a kind and is offered exclusively to HV and KH guests.

Stardust is all wood, built with mahogany over steam bent oak framing. Since taking ownership in June 2007, the HV has restored Stardust to its original condition with many modern enhancements. New engines, electrical systems and a complete varnish job make Stardust a one of a kind gem.

Sunset Harbor Cruise
Catch a Vineyard sunset aboard Stardust during a 2 hour harbor cruise.  We will tour Edgartown Harbor, Katama bay then go into Cape Pogue for breathtaking views as the sun goes down over Vineyard Sound.  Guests are welcome to book Edgartown Harbor cruise during the day.  Stardust offers daily cruises up to six people only for two hours.  The boat is sold either by per person or reserve the whole boat for two hours for a private charter.  All boat outings you may bring your own alcoholic beverages and we will provide light snack, soda, and water.

Picnic Lunch Tashmoo at Anchor  
Cruise to Vineyard Haven Harbor aboard Stardust for a relaxing Vineyard Haven harbor tour.  Round West Chop, en route to Lake Tashmoo, an intimate harbor in Tisbury on the northwest shore, to enjoy an optional lunch while taking in the view at anchor.  Please order lunch through our concierge with options of Lobster rolls to baguettes and cold cuts at an additional charge.

Hadley’s Harbor      
Hadley’s Harbor is nestled between the Elizabeth Islands and Woods Hole.  Located just to the north of MV at the top of Naushon Island, Hadley’s is a beautiful, small and quaint harbor that is traditional New England. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the day relaxing at anchor.

Additional hours: $100 - $150

We require advance reservations for all cruises from 2 hours to all day.  The boat can only accommodate up to six people per trip.  Many of our trips include light snacks and bottle waters, but you may like to bring your own adult beverages on the trip.  Of course you may order lunch from our concierge at an additional charge.
