Their extensive experience creating weddings from intimate and private to the grandest of celebrations is paired with their talent for indentifying the perfect venue. They will guide you through all the decisions to create your once-in-a-lifetime event.
Kez Sandhu is a special events manager at Harbor View Hotel where she oversees the property’s seasonal events, corporate meetings retreats, and weddings. Sandhu enjoys working with guests to create meaningful, seamless events and long-lasting memories, and is their point of contact throughout the process, from choosing dates and a venue space to coordinating catering details, and everything in between.
Sandhu came to Martha’s Vineyard in 2011 where she began work with Harbor View Hotel as a banquet supervisor before moving over to the human resources department. Other previous positions include food and beverage associate at the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel and the Crowne Plaza Manchester, in Manchester, England.
Sandhu received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Events Management from Manchester Metropolitan University where she studied business, marketing, event operations and human resources. Sandhu also enjoys volunteering and has done work for the British Heart Foundation and the BBC
Amira Tranchell is a special events manager at Harbor View Hotel, where she works with the hotel’s special events department and its team of planners to oversee all property events. She has over five years of experience working with Scout Hotel and Resort Management, Harbor View Hotel’s operating company, where she began as an intern in the sales department. Over the years, Tranchell grew within the company’s event planning and marketing sectors and finds working with guests to help create memorable experiences extremely rewarding. What attracts her to managing events is the idea that each one is unique.
Cape Cod and the islands have always been home to Tranchell, who came to Martha’s Vineyard from Falmouth, Massachusetts. She spent most of her childhood summers on the Vineyard where she established a deep connection, so working at Harbor View was a natural fit.
Tranchell received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clark University. She also minored in Education and was captain of the university’s volleyball team.
